A big thank you for the Help the church provided to the American Red Cross in the on going relief effort for the victims of hurricane Irma. Think you for being such a great host, and to the Southern Baptist from Mississippi who prepared the thousands of meals for the residents of Florida around the St. Petersburg Tampa Bay Area,
It seems big, but sit in the front of any church and it gets personal pretty quickly. Despite the size, you are remembered and not lost on the mix, it feels like a small church in terms of fellowship because everyone makes an effort to make you a part of the family, but is huge in actual numbers....and is so very effective in the community and the world as well. The pastor and his team are simply amazing and receive scripture with clarity while lovingly giving it to us in an amazing, memorable way. There are programs for everyone, and this church is awesome to raise kids in.
When I first put my step on idlewild, I feel the holy Spirit of God. I FEEL HOME. Pastor Ken is God sent from heaven. Members are very nice and loving. So I would recommend for anyone out there to be apart of us.
Welcoming experience. The sermons are at their best when they relate the teaching to current culture.
