This has been a point of contention for me for every year I have been a ticket holder. It really came to a head last year when I complained to a manager that I did not come to the ballpark to miss entire inning waiting for a refill on my coke. More than half of the service windows were closed. He offered to go in the back and get it for me me. I refused and said want I want you to do is fix the problem. A year later and here I am writing this review.
As I understand it Ovations uses volunteer workers from local charities and "donates" money to their causes. All well and good but...the service is horribly slow and in contrast to most ballparks these days the food is, at best mediocre and often bad. I think everyone who goes to a ballpark expects to pay outrageous amounts of money for the food and drinks but we should expect a certain level of competence. I have been to 4 major league parks in the last few years and all the prices were similar to what I pay at Space Coast Stadium but the quality and service was far better.
My experience with this company is based on the food and service I receive at Space Coast Stadium in Viera, Fl during the spring training games of the Washington Nationals where I have "season" tickets for the spring.
